The summer may be ending but I have something ready to grow

I have been thinking about what I am going to do with all of my broken drum sticks. It finally clicked and I have a new project to work on among my other stuff. Which I’m truly happy about, since I only have two other ideas still not finalized and one series I need to finish.

I know I will be getting everything cooking again once school starts up. I’m looking forward to Tuesday, which is now less than a week away. Only thing I am dreading is the winter but that won’t be here for a few months so I have to time to still sweat and wear shorts.

Song: Hammock – Kenotic. Chill way to bring in September and Labor Day Weekend.

  1. You’re not going to share? Not telling about the idea?

    Eric, that’s… that’s…

well, it’s just plain shabby, lol!

I was altogether drawn in by the photo, as I recognized the drumsticks before I read the post, and having had collections of drumsticks in various states of ill repair littering my house for years, I was most interested to hear what you could have found inspiration for.

Eric, could this be – payback?! 😯

  2. Haha. No pay back for kept secrets. I just don’t want to let people down if this doesn’t work out. If a painting doesn’t work out, I can just use the canvas for something else. If this doesn’t work out, the whole thing will be scrapped.

Glad the picture sucked you in. Does it get the BB Seal of Approval? 🙂

  3. Sure does. I can’t help wishing your focal point was sharper, but I’m lovin’ the strong lines entering the lower right. 🙂

I hope it “plays” out .
    Sounds interesting.

    • Thanks for the music pun Mark. I have to plan this all out, because if I don’t I can easily ruin the whole thing. It would take me an awful long time and money to buy a ton of new sticks to break again.
